Database Anthrosource:

As an anthropology major, when studying and researching subjects, it is difficult to access these types of scholarly articles. Up until recently, I have never actually looked at anthrosource, and or ever heard of it before. Anthrosource is an organized website that breaks up all different types of anthropology. Anthrosource articles are all from the anthropological association, which especially is helpful because in order to get anthropology work published you have to apply to the anthropological association.

Content:

I am beyond thrilled to have discovered this source. The way that It categorizes different types of anthropology is amazing. I didn’t even think to consider some of the anthropology that is being shown on this website. It is also great because I feel as though my work I have done thus far has been as activist anthropology, so the fact that there is so much on this website with many different categories there is such a wide array.

Search Features:

Right when you search, it gives you the option to look at most recent to not most recent. There are so many articles that are brand new, which again is something that I am not typically used to when studying anthropology here at Trinity College. On the website, you can pick which method of anthropology you want to learn about. As I mentioned previously, I believe I am an activist anthropologist, so on this website, I can easily find articles with an activist anthropologist approach.
